Florida burn restrictions are mostly county-level decisions. FFS publishes a public map, but local agencies remain the final source for what is allowed at your address.
County Burn Bans
County burn bans are enacted by individual counties, usually during dry or high-fire-risk periods. Counties may report those bans to the Florida Forest Service, which powers the public ArcGIS dashboard used by this site.
Yard Debris Restrictions

Burn Authorizations
Large outdoor burns may require a Florida Forest Service authorization. FDACS guidance commonly treats piles over 8 feet in diameter as needing authorization.
